Great Faith, Great Doubt, Great Effort – Zen Quote Notes – video

Great Faith, Great Doubt, Great Effort

 – The three qualities necessary for training –

If we maintain these three elements of self-perception, we can achieve anything.

Doubt often presents itself as a blockage to our continuing process of evolution.

When faced with it, we use it as proof that we are not meant to succeed.

So we stop, and brood.

Properly applied, doubt can act as a signpost, guiding us forward.

By maintaining the necessity of our Doubt, and attaching it to Faith and Effort, we can always find our way back to the active and continuing process of our self-improvement.
