  1. Time is not ours to grasp or to try and hold, either looking back or looking ahead. It is rather, how Annie Dillard describes it, “…what we do with this hour, and that one, is what we are doing. A schedule defends from chaos and whim. It is a net for catching days….” Now is all we have and all we know for sure, and that can be a starting point to move toward the next one and the next one and the next. But wait, don’t get ahead of yourself. Be who you are where you are. That is where you will find yourself, your best self. Then, go ahead..,
